S&DCA
In the Sheffield and District Chess Association (S&DCA) we have a league of four divisions and a cup competition, the Richardson Cup. The League time control is thirty moves in one hour, followed by fifteen minutes to finish the game. This means games last a maximum of two and a half hours. Some players are graded over 200, but plenty of players are graded under 100, and then there's everyone in between. So whatever your level you should be able to find a good match.
Yorkshire League
There are also four Sheffield Teams in the Yorkshire League. Matches are played on a Saturday every two or three weeks of the season.
