Sheffield & District Chess Association  Minutes of the Fixture Meeting held on Wednesday, 20th September 2006 at  The  Abbey, Abbey Lane, Sheffield, at 7.30 p.m.  Chairman Geoff Frost opened the meeting.  1. Application for double point matches: None  7. The Fixtures for the 2005/2006 season were then distributed.  8. Announcements by Officials and Secretaries:    Treasurer Mike Brumby handed out details of the new fees and     subscriptions for the coming season to each club. In addition he also     had available the revised Constitution & Rules for any team captains or     other members requiring them.     League Secretary Joe Primrose asked team captains to report results     promptly.  9. Any Other Business    (a) Woodseats Grand Prix organiser Bill Ward congratulated Mithun    Chakrovarty  on winning the competition for the second year in a row.    (b) A new law regarding the fitting of special purpose child seats was  mentioned as it could affect the transport of junior players to and from  matches. However it was not thought to be a major problem at present.  There being no further business the meeting closed at 8.30pm
